A standout starting pitcher at Western Carolina University, Coach Martin's talent was recognized by the Chicago Cubs in the 2009 MLB draft, and he swiftly ascended to Triple-A. Transitioning from the mound to the mentor's role, he has been instrumental in developing players for collegiate and professional levels, specializing in advanced pitching metrics and biomechanics.
